Heyan'er Ethical Fashion 何燕 布言布语 (also known as SZBR Fashion Ltd), was established in 1994 by fashion designer He Yan and her husband Gao Junfeng. The first shop was located at the south gate of the Peking University in Beijing. Since its opening, Heyan'er's unique design has attracted numerous customers nationally and internationally. Today, Heyan'er has two shops in Beijing and one in Shanghai, and its design has been recognised as an icon of modern Chinese costume. Heyan'er (SZBR) has been featured on travelling book Best of Beijing, published by Lonely Planet in London (please see the image at the bottom).

The costumes in the shops are primarily designed by He Yan, and hand made my Heyan'er workshop. The graceful stores of Heyan’er are homes to the extensive collection of modernized Chinese-style clothing made of cotton, linen or silk. Items include tops, pants, skirts, qipao and cheongsam, and can only be purchased from the Heyan’er shops in Beijing and Shanghai.

Designer He Yan (He Haiyan) was born in Mudanjiang, Heilongjiang province, China. She studied post-graduate courses on fashion design at the Central Academy of Applied Arts in Beijing (today's Academy of Art & Design, Tsinghua University). He Yan is now the Director and chief designer of the Heyan'er Ethical Fashion.

何燕布言布语（1994年成立于北京。由服装设计师何燕及丈夫高峻峰共同创建。何燕 布言布语服装设计的宗旨是：创造既包含中华民族传统又富于现代风格的当代个性艺术服饰。布言布语用料以棉，麻等自然布料为主。自从布言布语创建以来，其服装设计受到了国内外众多有识之士的赞赏与支持，并被英国孤独星球 (Lonely Planet) 旅游手册 《北京之最》收录为最杰出的中国服装店之一。
